These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Nuggets mobile application, website, software, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Company”).

By accessing, downloading, registering, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. About the Platform

Nuggets is a short-video micro-learning app that delivers bite-sized educational videos across a wide range of topics, organised into bytes, playlists, and learning tracks, with progress tracking and personalised recommendations. Some features are free; premium features require a paid subscription or in-app purchase.

2. Educational Content & Its Limitations

• Content is created for general learning and may be simplified, summarised, or condensed for a short-video format; it may not be complete, current, or applicable to your specific situation.
• Topics, accuracy, and depth may vary, and content may be updated, replaced, or removed at any time.
• Some content may be produced or reviewed with the help of automated tools; we make reasonable efforts toward quality but do not warrant that all content is error-free.
• Feature availability, content libraries, playback quality, and recommendations may vary by region, device, plan, language, and server load.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your country, e.g. 16 in parts of the EEA) to use the App, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a subscription.
• By using the Platform, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.

4. Account Registration

• You may sign up using your email address or a supported identity provider (Google, Apple).
• You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts with false, misleading, or shared credentials.

5. Content Ownership & Your Use

• All learning videos, audio, text, graphics, courses, branding, and other materials made available in the App (the “Content”) are owned by or licensed to HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
• We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream and view the Content for your own personal, non-commercial learning, while your account and (where applicable) subscription are active.
• You may not download (except where the App provides an explicit offline feature), copy, record, screen-capture, redistribute, publicly perform, resell, or create derivative works from the Content without our written permission.

6. User Contributions

Where the App lets you create notes, ratings, comments, or other contributions:

• You retain ownership of what you submit, and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display it as needed to operate the service.
• You agree not to post anything unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, or otherwise in violation of our rules or applicable law.
• We may use automated and manual moderation, and may remove contributions or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

7. Acceptable Use & Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the App, the Content, or your subscription, or provide access to third parties via automation/scraping.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, models, or proprietary systems.
• Circumvent usage limits, paywalls, geo-restrictions, or content protections (DRM).
• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purpose.
• Share your account or active subscription with others.

8. Subscription, Pricing & Payments

• Premium features are available through paid subscription plans and/or one-time in-app purchases (e.g., credit packs or track unlocks).
• Current pricing is displayed inside the App at the time of purchase, in your local currency where supported. Prices may vary by region and may change at any time; existing active subscriptions remain at the agreed price until renewal.
• Payments are processed by Google Play Billing (Android), Apple In-App Purchase / Apple Pay (iOS), or licensed payment processors such as Razorpay (web and supported regions), supporting credit/debit cards and local payment methods. The active processor may change without prior notice.
• We do not store your full card or banking details on our servers.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Purchases made through Google Play or the Apple App Store are also subject to Google’s and Apple’s own terms and refund policies. See our Payment & Cancellation Policy for full details.
• Prices may be exclusive of taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) depending on your region; any applicable taxes are shown at checkout or applied by the app store.

9. Refund & Cancellation

• You may cancel auto-renewal at any time before the next billing cycle. Cancellation prevents future charges; current period access continues until expiry.
• Purchases via Google Play or the Apple App Store follow the refund policies of those stores. For direct purchases (e.g., via Razorpay), completed payments are non-refundable except as described in our policy or where required by applicable consumer law (including any statutory withdrawal/cooling-off rights in your country).

10. Disclaimer

• Nuggets is a learning tool. Content is provided for general education and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose.
• We do not guarantee any specific learning outcome, result, qualification, or benefit.
• You are solely responsible for how you use the information you learn, including compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

• All software, design, branding, and Content on the Platform are owned by or licensed to HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd.
• You receive a personal-use license only; no ownership of the Platform or Content transfers to you.
• Unauthorised commercial reproduction, redistribution, or modification may result in legal action.

12. Third-Party Services

• The Platform integrates third-party services such as payment processors (Google Play Billing, Apple In-App Purchase, Razorpay), sign-in providers (Google, Apple), cloud storage and content-delivery networks, and analytics tools.
• These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their independent functionality or policies.

13. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms, our usage rules, or applicable law.
• Payments fail, are disputed, or charged back.
• You misuse the App in ways that harm other users or the Platform.
• Required by court order or government authority.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-accurate service or content.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Content.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, or limits any non-waivable statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Platform or its Content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your infringement of any third-party right

16. Privacy Policy

Your use of Nuggets is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how your personal and learning data are handled.

17. Modifications to Terms

• We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App.
• Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you habitually reside.
• Subject to such mandatory rules, disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
