Delete Your Nuggets Account & Data

We respect your right to control your data. If you no longer want to use Nuggets, you can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time, from anywhere in the world. This page explains how.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the App
- Open Nuggets → Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm — your account and data will be scheduled for permanent deletion.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
Send an email to our support team from the email address associated with your Nuggets account (or the Google/Apple sign-in email you used):

Subject line: Nuggets Account Deletion Request
Include in the email:
- The email address registered on your account
- (Optional) Reason for deletion — helps us improve
What gets deleted
When we process your request, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your account profile (email, name, sign-in identity, preferences)
- Your learning progress, watch history, streaks, and saved nuggets
- Your followed topics, stated interests, and personalisation data
- Any notes, ratings, quiz results, or comments you created
- App settings and configuration linked to your account
- Login session tokens
- Any feedback or support correspondence
- Subscription identifier linked to your account (transactional records may be retained for statutory compliance — see below)
Note: Account deletion is permanent. Your learning progress and saved items cannot be recovered once deletion is complete.
What may be retained
In accordance with legal and compliance obligations, the following may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form:
- Anonymised usage analytics (cannot be linked back to you)
- Billing and tax records required for accounting and audit compliance (typically up to 7 years)
- Logs required for fraud prevention and platform security
Active subscription
If you have an active auto-renewing subscription, please cancel it first — via Google Play, the Apple App Store, or the App, depending on where you purchased. See the Payment & Cancellation Policy for steps. Deleting your account does not cancel subscriptions billed by Google Play or the App Store, and does not automatically issue a refund — refunds are governed by the Cancellation Policy.
Timeframe
- We acknowledge your request within 2 working days.
- Deletion is completed within 30 days of verification (or sooner where required by your local law).
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
