Last updated: 1 September 2026
These Terms govern your use of Astroly, operated by HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd. By using the App you accept them. Read them together with our Privacy Policy and Payment & Cancellation Policy.
Entertainment only. Astrological readings in Astroly are produced by software for entertainment and personal reflection. They are not predictions of fact and are not medical, legal, financial, psychological or professional advice of any kind. Do not make health, legal, financial or life decisions on the basis of a reading. If you need professional help, consult a qualified professional. If you are in distress, contact a doctor or a helpline.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and capable of entering a contract under Indian law. One account per mobile number.
2. Your Account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password. You are responsible for keeping access to that number secure and for everything done through your account.
3. What the Service Is
- A Vedic birth chart computed once from the birth details you supply — your lagna (where a birth time is given), your moon sign, your birth nakshatra and your running planetary period.
- A daily reading built on that chart from the day’s planetary positions.
- Conversations with AI astrologers about that chart, subject to the message allowance of your plan.
- Your past conversations, kept and continuable.
The astrologers are AI personas. They are not real named individuals, not licensed practitioners, and their replies are machine-generated.
4. About the calculations
The chart is computed from standard astronomical formulae using the Lahiri ayanamsa, which is the sidereal reference commonly used in India. Different software and different astrologers use different conventions, so another app or practitioner may report a slightly different chart. That is a difference of convention, not an error.
Your birth time matters. Without it the lagna cannot be computed at all, and the moon’s position — and therefore your nakshatra — may be wrong. Where no time is given the App assumes midday and tells you so.
5. Message Allowances
Every plan includes a number of messages. A “message” is one question you send to an astrologer; the reply is not counted. Allowances and message packs are described in the Payment & Cancellation Policy and shown in the App before you pay. Packs do not expire, but can only be used while your subscription is active.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, or defamatory.
- Attempt to extract, resell, or systematically copy readings, personas or prompts.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or automate access to the App or its API.
- Interfere with the service, bypass message limits, or use another person’s account.
- Submit another person’s birth details or personal data without their consent.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, without refund where the breach is deliberate.
7. Content and Intellectual Property
The App, its astrologer personas, text and software are owned by HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd or its licensors. The questions you write and your birth details remain yours; you grant us a licence to store and process them in order to run the service.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Astroly available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and the roster of astrologers may change, without notice. We may discontinue the service; if we do so while you hold a paid period, we will refund the unused part of it.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any decision you take on the basis of a reading. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.
