HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Company”) operates the VastuGuru website and service (the “Service”).

VastuGuru is an AI-powered Vastu compliance tool. You can upload photos of your home, upload a floor plan, or answer a guided questionnaire, and our system analyses your inputs to produce a Vastu compliance report — including a Vastu score, an eight-direction (zone) breakdown, identified issues, and suggested remedies. A free preview (your score, verdict and a summary, plus a count of the issues detected) is available, and the full detailed report can be unlocked with a one-time payment.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use VastuGuru.

By accessing or using the VastuGuru website or Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Home photos and floor plans that you upload, so that our system can analyse the layout and directions of your home and generate your Vastu report.
• Questionnaire answers that you provide about your home (such as the direction of the main entrance, room placements, and similar details) used to assess Vastu compliance.
• Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number, which you enter before viewing your report.
• Payment-related details when you unlock the full report (handled by our payment gateway partner — see below).
• Feedback, support queries, or communications you send to us.

B. Automatically Collected Information

• Device and browser information: device type, operating system, browser, IP address.
• Usage data: pages viewed, reports generated, features used, time spent on the Service.
• Performance data: diagnostics and error logs.
• Analytics data collected via third-party tools to improve the Service.

C. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not use your uploaded photos or floor plans for any purpose other than generating your Vastu report.
• We do not sell, rent, or publicly share your photos, floor plans, or personal details.
• We do not use your photos to identify you, and we do not collect government IDs or any sensitive personal data beyond what you voluntarily provide.
• We do not store your full card, UPI, or banking details — payment information is handled directly by our payment gateway partner.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Process the photos, floor plans, and questionnaire answers you provide to generate your Vastu compliance report, score, zone breakdown, issues, and remedies.
• Send your uploaded inputs to our AI analysis provider (Google Gemini) strictly to perform the Vastu analysis and produce your report.
• Deliver your report to you and, for paid reports, make the full report and downloadable PDF available.
• Contact you about your report or respond to support requests using the name, email, and phone you provide.
• Process your one-time payment to unlock the full report and maintain billing and tax records.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorised access.
• Improve the Service’s performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.

3. AI Processing of Your Inputs

• To analyse your home, your uploaded photos, floor plans, and/or questionnaire answers are sent to Google’s Gemini AI for processing. This is necessary to generate your Vastu report.
• Your inputs are processed only to produce your report and are not used by us to train public AI models.
• Google processes this data under its own security and privacy policies as our AI and cloud provider.

4. Payment Information

• The full report is unlocked with a one-time payment, processed by our payment gateway partners (such as Razorpay, PhonePe, or similar RBI-licensed providers).
• The payment gateway processes and stores card / UPI / netbanking details under its own security and privacy policies (PCI-DSS).
• We retain only your payment status and transaction reference for billing and tax compliance.

5. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data, photos, or floor plans. We share limited data only:

• With service providers strictly to operate the Service — Google Cloud / Google Gemini (AI analysis, hosting, and Firestore storage) and our payment gateway partner (payment processing) — under data-protection terms.
• To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or lawful government requests.
• In case of mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring (with notice to users).
• To protect rights, safety, and platform security.

6. Data Storage & Security

• We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls.
• Your data, including uploaded photos and floor plans and your generated reports, is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure (including Firestore), which may be located outside India, with appropriate safeguards.
• Uploaded photos and floor plans are stored only to generate, deliver, and let you re-access your Vastu report.
• While we take strong precautions, no system is completely secure.

7. Data Retention

• Your report and the inputs used to generate it are retained so you can re-access or re-download your report, and are deleted on request.
• Contact details are retained while needed to provide the Service and support.
• Transaction records are retained for the duration required by Indian tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years).
• Analytics data may be retained in anonymised form for up to 24 months.
• You may request deletion of your data at any time using the contact details below.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Under applicable laws (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data

• Request deletion of your data, photos, and floor plans

• The Service uses third-party providers including Google Cloud / Google Gemini (AI analysis, hosting, and storage), Razorpay / PhonePe (payments), and analytics services.
• These services operate under their own privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

• We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
• Significant changes will be communicated through the Service.
• Continued use of VastuGuru means acceptance of the updated policy.
