Delete Your Topper Account & Data

We respect your right to control your family’s data. If you no longer want to use Topper, you can request deletion of the account and all associated data — including everything we hold about your child — at any time, from anywhere in the world. This page explains how.

Parents and guardians: the Topper account belongs to you, and you may delete it and your child’s data at any time. Under COPPA, the GDPR, and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you also have the right to review the information we hold about your child and to refuse to permit its further collection — just email us and we will act on it.

Send an email to our support team from the email address associated with your Topper account (or the Google/Apple sign-in email or registered mobile number you used):

What gets deleted

When we process your request, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

Note: Account deletion is permanent and removes your server-side data. Answers or worksheets your child already saved or downloaded are stored on your own device — delete them from your device separately if you wish. Question history and study progress cannot be recovered once deletion is complete.

What may be retained

In accordance with legal and compliance obligations, the following may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form:

Active subscription

If you have an active auto-renewing subscription, please cancel it first — from your UPI app or by emailing support. See the Payment & Cancellation Policy for steps. Deleting your account does not automatically issue a refund — refunds are governed by the Cancellation Policy.
