HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Tarotly mobile application and website (the “App”).
Tarotly draws a daily three-card tarot spread and lets you discuss it with AI tarot readers in Hindi, English or Hinglish. Access is offered on a paid subscription with a paid introductory day.
Tarotly is for entertainment and personal reflection only. It does not provide medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and nothing in the App should be relied on as a prediction of fact. Readings are generated by software, not by a human astrologer or licensed professional.
By using Tarotly you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information you give us
- Mobile number — the only identifier used to sign in. We do not ask for a password or an email address to create an account.
- Name and age — asked once, used to address you and to inform the reading.
- Your questions and the readers’ replies — every conversation is stored so you can return to it.
- Your daily card draw — which three cards you drew, on which date, and whether each was reversed.
- Support messages you send us.
B. Collected automatically
- Device type, operating system, app version and crash diagnostics.
- Usage events — screens opened, readings drawn, messages sent — used to understand and improve the App.
- Advertising and attribution identifiers, where the Meta SDK is active on your device, to measure which advertisement led to an install or a purchase.
C. What we do NOT collect
- We never receive or store your card, UPI PIN, bank credentials or any payment instrument. Those are handled entirely by Razorpay.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To sign you in and keep your readings and conversations attached to your account.
- To generate a reader’s reply. Your question, the day’s cards and your name and age are sent to our AI provider (Google, via the Gemini API) to produce that reply.
- To operate the subscription: to count the messages you have used, to open a new monthly allowance, and to add message packs you buy.
- To provide support, prevent abuse, and rate-limit OTP requests.
- To measure advertising performance in aggregate.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your conversations with advertisers.
4. Where Your Data Lives, and For How Long
Account data, draws and conversations are stored in Google Firestore in India (asia-south1). We keep them for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, they are removed — see Delete Account.
Payment records and invoices are retained for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, even after account deletion, because we are legally obliged to keep them.
5. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Your login session is a signed token; the OTP itself is stored only as a salted hash and expires in ten minutes. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
- Access — your draws and conversations are visible in the App at any time.
- Correction — your name and age can be changed from the App.
- Deletion — see Delete Account.
- Withdraw consent — stop using the App and request deletion.
7. Children
Tarotly is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, write to us and we will remove it.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy. The “last updated” date above will change, and material changes will be notified in the App.
