These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Statusly mobile application and related services (the “App”), operated by HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using Statusly, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
• You are responsible for the phone number you use to sign in and for keeping your account secure.

2. The Service

• Statusly provides a library of status posts, greetings, wishes, and flyers that you can personalise with your name, photo, and WhatsApp number and share on social apps.
• Browsing the library is free. Sharing and downloading personalised posters require an active premium subscription.
• We may add, change, or remove content, categories, and features at any time.

3. Account & OTP Login

• You sign in using your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP) sent to that number.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us of any unauthorised use.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful, misleading, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing purpose.
• Add content (including photos or names) that you do not have the right to use, or that impersonates another person.
• Use posters to harass, defraud, or mislead others.
• Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the App’s content library except by using the sharing features as intended.
• Attempt to bypass the subscription paywall, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App or its security.

5. Your Content

• The name, photo, and number you add remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to process them on your device solely to render your personalised posters.
• You are solely responsible for how you use and share the posters you create, and for ensuring you have the rights to any photo you add.

6. Intellectual Property

• The App, its design, and the poster templates and library are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law.
• Your subscription grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the content for personal, non-commercial sharing. It does not transfer ownership.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

• Premium is offered as an introductory ₹1 trial. The trial length is shown to you on the payment screen before you pay (currently 5 or 15 days, depending on the offer you are shown). When the trial ends, it renews at ₹299 per month via UPI AutoPay, unless cancelled.
• Payments are processed directly by our payment gateway partner, Razorpay, and not through Google Play or Apple in-app billing.
• Full pricing, renewal, refund, and cancellation terms are set out in our Payment & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services (such as SMS/OTP delivery, cloud hosting, and the Razorpay payment gateway). Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9. Disclaimers

• The App and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that content will suit every purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

• You may stop using the App at any time and request account deletion (see the Delete Account page).
• We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurugram, Haryana, India.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
