These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PawMatch application, website (pawmatch.web.app), software, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Company”).
By accessing, downloading, registering, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. About the Platform
PawMatch helps dog parents find playmates and companions for their dogs. You create a profile for your dog, browse other dogs, like the ones that look suitable, and when both sides like each other you can chat with the other dog parent and arrange to meet. Certain features are available only to paid Premium subscribers.
PawMatch is a discovery and messaging service only. We are not a party to any arrangement you make with another user — including meet-ups, playdates, breeding arrangements, adoptions, or any exchange of money, dogs, or services between users.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform, because it includes chat with other adults.
- You must be the owner of the dog you list, or have the owner’s permission to list it.
- By using the Platform, you confirm you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.
3. Account Registration
- An account is required, and is created by verifying your mobile number with an OTP.
- You are responsible for keeping your phone number and OTP secure, and for all activity on your account.
- One account per person. Do not impersonate anyone, create fake profiles, or list a dog that is not yours.
- You agree to provide accurate information, and to keep your dog’s profile truthful and current.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that are fake, misleading, shared, or abusive.
4. Your Content — Ownership & License
- You retain ownership of the photos, text, and messages you upload.
- You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, resize, re-encode, and display your profile content solely to operate the service — primarily to show your dog’s profile to other users. This license ends when the content is deleted from our systems.
- You confirm you own or have all rights and consents needed for every photo you upload, including the consent of any identifiable person shown in it.
- Your profile content is visible to other users of the Platform. Do not post your phone number, address, or other private information in it.
5. Acceptable Use — What You May Not Post or Do
You agree not to:
- Post nude, sexual, or explicit content, or use the Platform to solicit sexual or romantic contact between humans. PawMatch is for dogs’ playdates, not human dating.
- Post any sexualised content involving minors (strictly prohibited and reported to authorities), or any photo of a child.
- Upload photos of other people without their consent, or content that violates anyone’s privacy, publicity, or likeness rights.
- Post content showing animal cruelty, dog fighting, illegal breeding, or anything that violates the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 or any other applicable animal-welfare law.
- Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, defame, or spam other users, or send unsolicited commercial messages.
- Post hateful content, or content that incites violence against any individual, community, religion, or caste.
- Use the Platform for prohibited or unlicensed sale of animals, for fraud, or for any other unlawful purpose.
- Scrape, bulk-export, reverse engineer, automate, or attempt to bypass any security, rate limit, or paywall in the Platform.
We may review, moderate, refuse, remove, or restrict any content, and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, without prior notice. You are solely responsible for what you post and for how you interact with other users.
6. Safety — Meeting Other Users & Their Dogs
We do not verify users, dogs, vaccination status, temperament, or breed claims. Meet in a public place, tell someone where you are going, keep your dog leashed until both dogs are comfortable, and confirm vaccination and health status yourself before any interaction. You meet other users and their dogs entirely at your own risk.
- Block and Report tools are available in the App — use them for anyone who behaves inappropriately, and email us if you need urgent help.
- Never send money, deposits, or advance payments to another user. Any money you exchange with another user is entirely between you and them.
- You are responsible for your dog’s behaviour, health, licensing, and for any injury or damage it causes, in accordance with applicable law.
- The Platform may show sample or demonstration dog profiles operated by us to illustrate how the App works. These are not real users, will not meet you in person, and should not be relied upon as available matches.
7. Premium Subscription, Pricing & Payments
- PawMatch Premium unlocks paid features such as seeing who liked your dog, unlimited likes, and other pro features shown on the in-app Premium screen.
- Premium is ₹299 per month, billed via UPI Autopay or card mandate. New subscribers may be offered an introductory 3-day trial for ₹5, after which the regular monthly price applies. Current pricing is always shown on the Premium screen before you pay.
- Prices are in INR and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change; existing active subscriptions continue at the agreed price until the next renewal.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay (or a similar RBI-licensed gateway) supporting UPI, UPI Autopay, cards, and netbanking. The active gateway may change without prior notice.
- We do not store your card or banking details on our servers.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the Premium screen in the App. See our Payment & Cancellation Policy for full details.
8. Refund & Cancellation
- You may cancel auto-renewal at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; Premium access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Completed payments for elapsed subscription periods are non-refundable except where required by law or as described in the Cancellation Policy.
- Premium unlocks features — it does not guarantee matches, replies, or meet-ups.

9. Intellectual Property Rights
- All designs, branding, illustrations, software, and content of the Platform (other than user-uploaded content) are owned by or licensed to HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd.
- You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform. No ownership transfers to you.
- Unauthorised copying or redistribution of the Platform may result in legal action under the Copyright Act, 1957 and related laws.
10. Third-Party Services
- The Platform uses Google Cloud / Firebase (hosting, authentication, database, storage), Razorpay (payments), voicensms.in (OTP SMS delivery), and analytics tools.
- These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their independent functionality or policies.
11. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms or applicable law (including the acceptable-use rules in Section 5).
- You are repeatedly reported or blocked by other users.
- Payments fail, are disputed, or charged back.
- Required by court order or government authority.
You may stop using the Platform at any time and delete your account from within the App — see Delete Account.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, any number of matches or messages, or that any user, dog, or claim on the Platform is genuine.
- We are not liable for interactions between users, including meet-ups, injuries to people or animals, disease transmission, disputes, breeding or adoption arrangements, or money exchanged between users.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Platform
- The content you post and the messages you send
- Your interactions with other users, and the behaviour of your dog
- Your violation of these Terms or of any third-party right
14. Privacy Policy
Your use of PawMatch is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, what other users can see, and how deletion works.
15. Modifications to Terms
- We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App.
- Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Gurgaon, Haryana.
