Payment & Cancellation Policy

This Policy explains plans, limits, pricing, payment processing, automatic renewal, cancellation, and refunds for Bhaktify Plus and any in-app purchases offered by HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd.

1. Plans

Bhaktify offers a free tier and multiple paid subscription plans. Each plan carries its own feature set and usage limits. Current plans, prices, and limits are always displayed on the in-app paywall at the time of purchase, in your local currency where supported — the in-app paywall is the authoritative source and prevails over the indicative figures below.

Plan names, prices, inclusions, and availability may change, and offers may be limited by region or time. Active subscribers retain access to all features of their plan for the entire paid period.

2. Usage Limits

Every plan — free and paid — is subject to limits that keep the service reliable for all users. Current limits are shown in the App. They typically cover:

• Feature access — which premium ringtones, wallpapers, and audio tracks are unlocked on your plan.
• Offline downloads — the maximum number of tracks or images you can save for offline use.
• Fair use — automated, bulk, or commercial-scale downloading or scraping beyond normal individual use may be throttled.

• We may adjust limits from time to time. If a change materially reduces what an active paid plan includes, we will notify you in advance and you may cancel before your next renewal.
• Exceeding a limit does not incur an extra charge — the relevant feature is simply paused until the limit resets or you upgrade.
• A subscription is for one person. Sharing account credentials or circumventing limits may result in suspension (see our Terms & Conditions).

3. Payment Methods

• Payments are processed by RBI-licensed payment gateway partners (such as Razorpay, PhonePe, or similar providers). The active payment gateway may change from time to time without prior notice.
• Supported methods: UPI & UPI Autopay, credit/debit cards, netbanking.
• For UPI Autopay and card mandates, you authorise the payment gateway partner to debit the agreed amount on each renewal date until you cancel.
• HouseofTech does not store your card or UPI credentials — they are held by the payment gateway under its own security standards (PCI-DSS).

4. Currency, Pricing & Taxes

• Prices are shown in your local currency where supported; otherwise in USD. Your bank or card issuer may apply foreign-exchange fees for cross-currency charges.
• Depending on your region, prices may be inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes (GST, VAT, sales tax). Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
• A receipt is emailed or messaged to you for each payment. GST/tax invoices for your subscription are available on request from support@houseoftech.ai — include your GSTIN if you need it printed on the invoice.

5. Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly, as chosen) using the UPI Autopay or card mandate set up at first purchase.
• If a renewal payment fails, the payment gateway may retry per its policy. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription lapses automatically — access reverts to the free tier.
• When a subscription lapses, your saved preferences are not deleted. However, premium ringtones and high-resolution wallpapers downloaded to your device may revert to standard versions or become inaccessible, and Bhaktify Plus features like ad-free listening will stop being available.
• Any offline premium content downloaded while you were subscribed is retained in the App for a grace period after a lapse so you can resubscribe. If you do not resubscribe, this premium content may be removed from your offline library.

6. How to Cancel Auto-Renewal

You can cancel auto-renewal at any time. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not cut your current period short — you continue to enjoy Bhaktify Plus access until your paid period ends.

Option A — From your UPI / Bank App

• Open your UPI app (PhonePe, GPay, Paytm, BHIM, or your bank’s app) and search for AutoPay (it may also be listed as Mandates, Autopay & Mandates, or Automatic payments).
• Find the “HouseofTech / Bhaktify” mandate → choose Pause to temporarily stop upcoming charges, or Cancel to stop them permanently.
• For cards, log in to your bank’s net banking → Recurring Mandates → cancel the standing instruction.
• Once the mandate is paused or cancelled we cannot collect the next renewal, so your subscription lapses at the end of your current paid period.

Option B — Email Support

• Email support@houseoftech.ai from your registered email, or from any address quoting your registered mobile number, with the subject “Bhaktify Cancellation Request”. We will cancel the auto-renewal within 2 working days.

7. Refund Policy

7.1 Eligible refund cases

• Duplicate charge — if you were charged twice for the same cycle or unlock, the duplicate amount is refunded in full within 5–10 working days.
• Failed activation — if your payment was charged but Bhaktify Plus access was not activated within 24 hours and our support team cannot resolve it, you receive a full refund.
• Unauthorised charge — if you can show a charge was made without your consent, report it within 7 days; we will investigate and, if confirmed, refund the disputed amount.
• Statutory rights — if the consumer law of your country grants a mandatory withdrawal/cooling-off or refund right that applies to digital services, we will honour it. Note that in many jurisdictions (e.g., the EU/UK), the 14-day withdrawal right for digital content lapses once you consent to immediate delivery and the service is performed.

7.2 Non-eligible cases

• Change of mind, loss of interest, or unused subscription time.
• Dissatisfaction with the audio quality, wallpaper resolution, or the specific selection of mantras, aartis, and bhajans available — Bhaktify provides devotional content as-is and the library may rotate or change.
• Inability to set a ringtone, notification tone, or wallpaper due to device-specific operating system restrictions, custom manufacturer interfaces, or revoked permissions.
• Loss of downloaded content if the App is uninstalled or device storage is cleared.
• Inability to use the App due to user-side issues such as device incompatibility, connectivity, storage space, or revoked permissions.
• Reaching a plan’s usage limit, or a limit being adjusted with prior notice.
• Failure to cancel before an upcoming renewal date.
• Account suspension or termination for violation of our Terms or usage rules.

7.3 How to request a refund

• Email support@houseoftech.ai with subject “Bhaktify Refund Request”.
• Include your registered mobile number, transaction ID (visible in your payment receipt and in the App’s Account screen), and reason for refund.
• We acknowledge within 2 working days and resolve eligible refunds within 7–10 working days. Refunds are credited back to the original payment method; cross-border refunds may take longer depending on your bank.

8. Free Tier & Trials

• The free tier remains available without payment, with the feature set and limits described above.
• If a free or discounted trial is offered, the trial details, price, and end date are shown at the paywall before you confirm. Auto-charge at the standard plan price begins at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then.
• Trial and introductory offers are limited to one per user, and we may withdraw them at any time for new purchases.

9. Upgrades, Downgrades & Restoring Purchases

• You may switch between monthly and yearly plans. A switch takes effect as shown at the paywall; unless stated otherwise, the new plan starts at your next renewal date and no refund is issued for the current period.
• If you reinstall the App or sign in on a new device, use Restore purchases on the paywall screen to re-activate an active subscription. Your subscription is tied to your account, so sign in with the same mobile number.

10. Price Changes

• We may revise plan prices. Existing active subscribers continue at the price they originally agreed to until their next renewal cycle.
• If pricing changes for your next renewal, you will be notified in advance and may cancel before being charged the new rate.

11. Chargebacks & Disputes

• If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we may suspend or terminate your account during dispute resolution.
• Please email support first — most issues are resolved faster directly.

12. Deleting Your Account

Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account or data, and deleting your account does not automatically issue a refund. To remove your data, see the Delete Account page — and please note that deleting your account will permanently remove your saved preferences and downloaded offline content.
