Delete Your Bhaktify Account & Data

Last updated: 8 October 2026

We respect your right to control your data. If you no longer want to use Bhaktify, you can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time, from anywhere in the world. This page explains how.

Before you delete — note your saved favorites. Deletion permanently removes your account and every playlist, favorite bhajan, and saved wallpaper collection synced to your profile. Open the App and ensure you have downloaded any ringtones or images you wish to keep before requesting deletion. We cannot recover your saved lists afterwards.

Media downloaded to your device is not affected. Bhaktify allows you to download devotional content — ringtones, mantras, and wallpapers — directly to your phone. Deleting your account removes your server-side data. To remove downloaded media too, delete the files from your device's storage or settings.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the App

Open Bhaktify → Account → Delete account and confirm. Your account and all server-side data will be scheduled for permanent deletion. If your version of the App does not show this option, use the email route below.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

Send an email to our support team, quoting the mobile number registered on your Bhaktify account:

Email: support@houseoftech.ai

Subject line: Bhaktify Account Deletion Request

Include in the email:

We may send an OTP to your registered mobile number to verify that the request is genuinely yours before we proceed.

What gets deleted

When we process your request, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

Note: Account deletion is permanent. Saved playlists and favorites cannot be recovered once deletion is complete. Ringtones and wallpapers you already downloaded and set on your device stay wherever you saved them — deleting your account does not reach those local files.

What may be retained

In accordance with legal and compliance obligations, the following may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form:

Removing a single favorite instead

If you only want to remove one bhajan, ringtone, or wallpaper from your favorites rather than close your account, open that item in the App and tap the heart or bookmark icon to remove it. The item is removed from your saved list; your account remains active.

Active subscription

If you have an active auto-renewing Bhaktify Plus subscription, please cancel it first. Payments are processed by RBI-licensed payment gateway partners (such as Razorpay, PhonePe, or similar providers). The active payment gateway may change from time to time without prior notice. There is NO in-app cancel button. Cancellation has exactly two routes: (A) in your UPI / bank app, find AutoPay and pause or cancel the mandate; or (B) email our support address. See the Payment & Cancellation Policy for steps. Deleting your account does not automatically issue a refund — refunds are governed by the Cancellation Policy.
