HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Company”) operates the Vyapar mobile application (the “App”).

Vyapar is a business poster maker app. It lets small business owners, shopkeepers, professionals, and creators design marketing posters, festival greetings, offer creatives, social-media banners, and other business posters from ready-made templates. Certain templates and features are available only to paid subscribers.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use Vyapar.

By downloading, installing, or using Vyapar, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Mobile phone number (used for OTP-based login).
• Optional business profile: business name, business category, owner name, address, phone, email, website, and social handles — used to auto-fill your posters.
• Business logo and profile photo you upload to include on posters.
• Subscription and billing-related details when purchasing a premium plan.
• Feedback, support queries, or communications you send to us.
• Poster customisation data: text edits, template choices, downloads, and share activity within the App.

B. Automatically Collected Information

• Device information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, unique device identifiers.
• Usage data: templates viewed, posters created, downloads, shares, time spent in the App.
• Performance data: crash reports, diagnostics, and error logs.
• Approximate location, if you grant the App permission, used only to suggest regional and language-specific templates (e.g., festival and state-specific creatives).
• Analytics data collected via third-party tools to improve the App.

C. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not access your contact list, microphone, SMS, or call logs.
• We do not access your camera or photo gallery beyond what you explicitly select to upload (logo, profile photo, product image).
• We do not collect government IDs, GSTINs, bank statements, or any sensitive personal data.
• We do not store your full card or UPI details — payment information is handled directly by our payment gateway partner.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your account via OTP and maintain secure login sessions.
• Auto-fill your posters with your business name, logo, contact, and address so you don’t have to retype each time.
• Suggest relevant templates based on your business category, language, and region.
• Process subscription payments and manage billing.
• Send service messages such as OTP, payment receipts, festival template alerts, and important account notices.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorised access.
• Improve App performance, fix bugs, and develop new features and templates.

3. Subscription & Payment Information

• Payments are handled by RBI-licensed payment gateway partners (such as Razorpay, PhonePe, or similar providers) using UPI, cards, netbanking, and UPI Autopay. The active payment gateway may change from time to time without prior notice.
• The payment gateway partner processes and stores card and UPI mandate details under its own security and privacy policies.
• We retain only your subscription status, plan, and transaction reference for billing and tax compliance.

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share limited data only:

• With service providers (cloud hosting, payment gateway partners such as Razorpay or PhonePe, OTP delivery via voicensms.in, analytics) under data-protection agreements.
• To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or lawful government requests.
• In case of mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring (with notice to users).
• To protect rights, safety, and platform security.

5. Posters You Create & Share

• Posters you generate inside Vyapar are intended for your business and marketing use. Once you download or share a poster on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, or any other platform, that content is governed by the destination platform’s terms.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, and ownership of any logo, photo, product image, or text you add to your posters.
• We may temporarily store your draft posters on our servers so you can edit them across devices. You may delete drafts at any time.

6. Data Storage & Security

• We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls.
• Data is stored on cloud infrastructure (including outside India) with appropriate safeguards.
• While we take strong precautions, no system is completely secure.

7. Data Retention

• Account and business profile data are retained while your account is active.
• Transaction records are retained for the duration required by Indian tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years).
• Analytics data may be retained in anonymised form for up to 24 months.
• You may request account and data deletion at any time by emailing support@houseoftech.ai.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Under applicable laws (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct or update your information
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent
• File a complaint with authorities

9. Children’s Privacy

• Vyapar is intended for users aged 13 and above, and is primarily designed for business owners.
• Users under 18 should use the App with parental or guardian guidance.
• We do not knowingly collect data from children below 13.

10. Third-Party Services

• The App may use third-party tools including Razorpay (payments), voicensms.in (OTP), cloud storage providers, and analytics services.
• These services operate under their own privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

• We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
• Significant changes will be communicated through the App.
• Continued use of Vyapar means acceptance of the updated policy.
