Delete Your Vaazhga Tamil Account & Data

We respect your right to control your data. If you no longer want to use Vaazhga Tamil, you can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time, from anywhere in the world. This page explains how.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the App
- Open Vaazhga Tamil → Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm — your account and data will be scheduled for permanent deletion.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
Send an email to our support team from the email address associated with your Vaazhga Tamil account (or the Google/Apple sign-in email or registered mobile number you used):

Subject line: Vaazhga Tamil Account Deletion Request
Include in the email:
- The email address or mobile number registered on your account
- (Optional) Reason for deletion — helps us improve
What gets deleted
When we process your request, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your account profile (email/phone, name, sign-in identity, preferences)
- Your favourites, followed collections, and content preferences
- Any photos you uploaded for personalisation that remain in our processing systems
- Your in-app activity and personalisation data
- App settings and configuration linked to your account
- Login session tokens
- Any feedback or support correspondence
- Subscription identifier linked to your account (transactional records may be retained for statutory compliance — see below)
Note: Account deletion is permanent and removes your server-side data. Posters you already created or downloaded are stored on your own device — delete them from your device separately if you wish. Your saved favourites and preferences cannot be recovered once deletion is complete.
What may be retained
In accordance with legal and compliance obligations, the following may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form:
- Anonymised usage analytics (cannot be linked back to you)
- Billing and tax records required for accounting and audit compliance (typically up to 7 years)
- Logs required for fraud prevention and platform security
Active subscription
If you have an active auto-renewing subscription, please cancel it first — from your UPI / bank app, or by emailing support. See the Payment & Cancellation Policy for steps. Deleting your account does not automatically issue a refund — refunds are governed by the Cancellation Policy.
Timeframe
- We acknowledge your request within 2 working days.
- Deletion is completed within 30 days of verification (or sooner where required by your local law).
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
