HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Company”) operates the PosterPro AI mobile application (the “App”).

PosterPro AI makes AI-personalised posters from templates using your photo and name. You pick a poster template, type the name you want on it, upload one of your own photos, and the App uses artificial intelligence to place you into that template and render a finished poster. Certain templates and features are available only to paid subscribers.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data — especially the photos you upload and the name you type — responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use PosterPro AI.

By downloading, installing, or using PosterPro AI, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Mobile phone number or email (used for OTP / account-based login).
• Optional profile information such as name, preferred language, and notification preferences.
• Photos you upload to be placed into a poster, and the name and any other text you type to be printed on the poster, together with the template you selected.
• The finished posters rendered for you (your poster history / gallery).
• Subscription and billing-related details when purchasing a paid plan.
• Feedback, support queries, or communications you send to us.

B. Automatically Collected Information

• Device information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, unique device identifiers.
• Usage data: templates used, number of posters created, features used, time spent in the App.
• Performance data: crash reports, diagnostics, and error logs.
• Analytics data collected via third-party tools to improve the App.

C. Permissions We May Request

• Photos / storage / gallery — only to let you select the photo you want on your poster, and to save finished posters to your device.
• Camera — only if you choose to take a new photo directly in the App for your poster. Not accessed otherwise.
• Notifications — only to alert you when a poster is ready or for service messages.
• You can deny or revoke these permissions at any time from your device settings; the rest of the App will continue to work, though making a poster requires access to a photo.

D. Face & Photo Data

• Poster templates place you into a scene, so the App detects and processes the face in the photo you upload in order to render you into the template.
• Facial geometry is processed transiently, only to render the poster you requested. We do not use it to identify you, do not build a facial-recognition database, and do not share it for advertising.
• Any face data is deleted together with the associated uploaded photos within the retention window described in Section 6.

E. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not access your contact list, SMS, or call logs.
• We do not collect government IDs or biometric identifiers for identification purposes.
• We do not store your full card or UPI details — payment information is handled directly by our payment gateway partner.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your account and maintain secure login sessions.
• Send the photo you upload and the name you type to an AI image model, together with your chosen template, so the poster you requested can be rendered.
• Store the finished poster in your in-app gallery so you can view it, re-download it, or share it again later.
• Process subscription payments and manage billing.
• Send service messages such as OTP, “your poster is ready” notices, payment receipts, and important account notices.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, misuse, or unauthorised access.
• Improve App performance, fix bugs, and develop new templates and features.

3. AI Processing & Third-Party AI Providers

• To create your poster, the photo you upload and the name you type are sent to an AI image model — processed on our secure cloud infrastructure and passed to a third-party generative image model provider (currently Google’s Gemini image models) — which renders you into the selected template.
• Photos and text sent to these providers are used solely to render your requested poster and are not retained by them for advertising or for training models without your consent, in line with their enterprise terms.
• Posters are rendered by AI and may be imperfect, inaccurate, or differ from what you expect — see our Terms & Conditions for usage rules.

4. Subscription & Payment Information

• Payments are processed by RBI-licensed payment gateway partners (such as Razorpay, PhonePe, or similar providers). The active payment gateway may change from time to time without prior notice. Supported methods include UPI, UPI AutoPay, cards, and netbanking.
• The payment gateway partner processes and stores card and UPI mandate details under its own security and privacy policies.
• We retain only your subscription status, plan, and transaction reference for billing and tax compliance.

5. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share limited data only:

• Your uploaded photo and the name you type are sent to our AI image-generation provider (currently Google LLC, the Gemini image models), solely to render the poster you requested. They are processed to create your poster and are not used by us to train models. The provider handles them under its own privacy policy and data-retention terms.
• With other service providers (Google Cloud hosting and storage, content delivery networks, payment gateway partners such as Razorpay or PhonePe, OTP delivery via voicensms.in) under data-protection agreements.
• To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or lawful government requests.
• In case of mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring (with notice to users).
• To protect rights, safety, and platform security.

6. Data Storage, Security & Retention

• We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls.
• Data is stored on cloud infrastructure (including outside India) with appropriate safeguards.
• The finished poster is stored in your account so that you can re-download it later. Uploaded source photos are kept only as long as needed for rendering and for your in-app history, and are automatically deleted from our processing servers within a limited period (typically up to 30 days) unless you keep them saved in your account.
• Posters you download or export to your own device or cloud are under your control and are not affected by our retention windows.
• Transaction records are retained for the duration required by Indian tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years).
• Analytics data may be retained in anonymised form for up to 24 months.
• While we take strong precautions, no system is completely secure.
• You may request account and data deletion at any time — see Section 8.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Under applicable laws (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct or update your information
• Request deletion of your data, uploaded photos and posters
• Withdraw consent
• File a complaint with authorities

8. Delete Your Account & Data

If you no longer want to use PosterPro AI, you can ask us to delete your account, your uploaded photos, your saved posters and all associated data at any time. There is no delete button inside the App; deletion is done on request so that we can verify it is really you.

How to request deletion: email support@houseoftech.ai with the subject “PosterPro AI Account Deletion Request”, and include the mobile number registered on your account (send the email from your registered email address if you have one on file). Optionally tell us why — it helps us improve.

What happens next:

• We confirm receipt and may ask for a one-time verification (for example, an OTP sent to the registered number) so nobody else can delete your account.
• Deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request, and you receive a confirmation email.
• Any active AutoPay mandate is cancelled at the same time, so no further charges occur.

What gets deleted: your account profile (phone number, name, preferences), all photos you uploaded and any face data processed from them, and every poster rendered for you in your in-app gallery, along with the names and text you typed, your in-app activity, login sessions and OTP records, and any support correspondence.

What may be retained: transaction and invoice records (payment reference, amount, date) for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years), and anonymised, aggregated analytics that cannot identify you. Posters you downloaded or saved to your own device are under your control and are not affected.

9. Children’s Privacy

• PosterPro AI is intended for users aged 13 and above.
• Users under 18 should use the App with parental or guardian guidance.
• We do not knowingly collect data from children below 13. Do not upload photos of children without the consent of their parent or guardian.

10. Third-Party Services

• The App uses Google LLC (Gemini generative AI image models), Razorpay (payments and UPI AutoPay mandates), voicensms.in (OTP delivery by SMS), and Google Cloud / Firebase (hosting, database and storage).
• These services operate under their own privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

• We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
• Significant changes will be communicated through the App.
• Continued use of PosterPro AI means acceptance of the updated policy.
