HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Company”) operates the Pashudhan mobile application (the “App”).

Pashudhan is a short-video app for farmers and the rural community. It offers a feed of short videos covering agriculture, livestock and dairy care, animal husbandry, crop and farming techniques, government schemes, mandi and market awareness, and other educational and informational content useful to farmers. Certain content and features are available only to paid subscribers.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use Pashudhan.

By downloading, installing, or using Pashudhan, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Mobile phone number (used for OTP-based login).
• Optional profile information such as name, preferred language, state / district, type of farming or livestock, and notification preferences.
• Subscription and billing-related details when purchasing a premium plan.
• Feedback, support queries, or communications you send to us.
• If you choose to upload, post, or share a video, photo, or comment, the content you submit and any associated caption or description.
• Likes, follows, saved videos, watch activity, and other in-app interactions.

B. Automatically Collected Information

• Device information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, unique device identifiers.
• Usage data: videos watched, watch duration, content liked / shared / saved, time spent in the App.
• Performance data: crash reports, diagnostics, and error logs.
• Approximate location, if you grant the App permission, used only to suggest region-relevant farming content, language, weather, and local schemes.
• Analytics data collected via third-party tools to improve the App.

C. Permissions We May Request

• Camera & microphone — only if you choose to record or upload a video. Not accessed otherwise.
• Photos / storage — only to let you upload an existing video or photo, or save content to your device.
• Location — only if granted, to personalise regional content.
• You can deny or revoke these permissions at any time from your device settings; the rest of the App will continue to work.

D. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not access your contact list, SMS, or call logs.
• We do not collect government IDs or any sensitive personal data.
• We do not store your full card or UPI details — payment information is handled directly by our payment gateway partner.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your account via OTP and maintain secure login sessions.
• Deliver and recommend short videos and other content relevant to your interests, language, and region.
• Enable you to like, follow, save, comment on, and (where available) upload or share content.
• Process subscription payments and manage billing.
• Send service messages such as OTP, payment receipts, and important account notices.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, or unauthorised access.
• Improve App performance, fix bugs, and develop new content and features.

3. Subscription & Payment Information

• Payments are handled by RBI-licensed payment gateway partners (such as Razorpay, PhonePe, or similar providers) using UPI, cards, netbanking, and UPI Autopay. The active payment gateway may change from time to time without prior notice.
• The payment gateway partner processes and stores card and UPI mandate details under its own security and privacy policies.
• We retain only your subscription status, plan, and transaction reference for billing and tax compliance.

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share limited data only:

• With service providers (cloud hosting, content delivery networks, payment gateway partners such as Razorpay or PhonePe, OTP delivery via voicensms.in, analytics) under data-protection agreements.
• To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or lawful government requests.
• In case of mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring (with notice to users).
• To protect rights, safety, and platform security.

Note: any video, comment, or profile name you choose to post publicly within the App may be visible to other users.

5. Data Storage & Security

• We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls.
• Data is stored on cloud infrastructure (including outside India) with appropriate safeguards.
• While we take strong precautions, no system is completely secure.

6. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• Your watch history, likes, follows, and saved videos are retained so the App can resume and personalise your experience, and are deleted on request.
• Content you have posted publicly remains available unless you delete it or request account deletion.
• Transaction records are retained for the duration required by Indian tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years).
• Analytics data may be retained in anonymised form for up to 24 months.
• You may request account and data deletion at any time — see the Delete Account page.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Under applicable laws (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct or update your information
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent
• File a complaint with authorities

8. Children’s Privacy

• Pashudhan is intended for users aged 13 and above.
• Users under 18 should use the App with parental or guardian guidance.
• We do not knowingly collect data from children below 13.

9. Third-Party Services

• The App may use third-party tools including Razorpay (payments), voicensms.in (OTP), cloud storage and content-delivery providers, and analytics services.
• These services operate under their own privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

• We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
• Significant changes will be communicated through the App.
• Continued use of Pashudhan means acceptance of the updated policy.
