These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Maya AI mobile application, website, software, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Company”).

By accessing, downloading, registering, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. About the Platform

Maya AI is an AI-powered tarot and spiritual-guidance app that provides tarot card readings, daily card draws, horoscopes, compatibility insights, and personalised interpretations based on the questions you ask and the birth details you choose to share. Content is generated by automated AI systems and curated by the Company; certain readings, spreads, and features are available only to paid subscribers.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
• By using the Platform, you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.

3. Account Registration

• Account creation is required for most features and is performed via OTP-based mobile verification.
• You are responsible for the security of your registered phone number and OTP.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts with false, misleading, or shared credentials.

4. License & Usage Rights

4.1 License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Platform and to view, save, and share the readings generated from your account for your personal, non-commercial use. Card artwork, illustrations, fonts, written interpretations, and other assets on the Platform are licensed for your personal use within the App and may not be redistributed as raw assets.

4.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute any reading, card artwork, font, or asset as a standalone product.
• Present Maya AI readings to others as certified professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or psychological) or as guaranteed predictions.
• Use the Platform to defame, demean, manipulate, defraud, or incite hatred against any person or community.
• Upload photos or likenesses of any other person without their consent, or upload content that is unlawful, obscene, abusive, defamatory, or infringing.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, content databases, or the underlying AI models.
• Use the Platform for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes.
• Share your account, OTP, or active subscription with others.

4.3 Responsibility for User Content

You are solely responsible for the questions, birth details, photos, and text you submit, and for how you act on any reading. You confirm that you have all rights and permissions required to use any content you upload.

5. Subscription, Pricing & Payments

• Premium readings, spreads, and features are available through paid subscription plans.
• Current pricing is displayed inside the App and on the paywall screen at the time of purchase.
• Prices are in INR and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change at any time without prior notice; existing active subscriptions remain at the price agreed at purchase until renewal.
• Payments are processed securely via RBI-licensed payment gateway partners (such as Razorpay, PhonePe, or similar providers) supporting UPI, cards, netbanking, and UPI Autopay. The active payment gateway may change from time to time without prior notice.
• We do not store your full card or banking details on our servers.
• Subscriptions auto-renew via UPI Autopay or card mandate until cancelled. See our Payment & Cancellation Policy for full details.

6. Refund & Cancellation

• You may cancel auto-renewal at any time before the next billing cycle. Cancellation prevents future charges; current period access continues until expiry.
• Due to the digital nature of the content, all completed payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

7. Content & Reading Disclaimer

• Tarot readings, horoscopes, and interpretations are produced by automated AI systems and are offered for entertainment, reflection, and personal insight only.
• Readings are not a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor, therapist, lawyer, financial adviser, or other professional. For decisions about health, finances, legal matters, or personal safety, please consult a licensed professional.
• AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent; we make reasonable efforts toward quality but do not guarantee accuracy.
• We do not guarantee any specific outcome, event, relationship result, or change in your circumstances from any reading.
• If you are in distress or crisis, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency / helpline services rather than relying on the App.

8. User Conduct

• You are responsible for the lawful and respectful use of the Platform.
• Do not use the Platform to harass, threaten, manipulate, or defraud any person.
• Misuse may result in suspension or termination of your account and reporting to authorities where applicable.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

• All card artwork, illustrations, fonts, written interpretations, designs, branding, and software on the Platform are owned by or licensed to HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd.
• Questions, birth details, photos, and text you submit remain your property; you grant us a limited license to host, process, and use them solely to provide the Platform’s services to you.
• You receive a personal-use license over generated readings only; no ownership of underlying content or models transfers to you.
• Unauthorised commercial reproduction, redistribution, or modification may result in legal action.

10. Third-Party Services

• The Platform integrates third-party services such as payment gateway partners (e.g., Razorpay, PhonePe), voicensms.in (OTP delivery), cloud storage providers, AI / language-model providers, and analytics tools.
• These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their independent functionality or policies.

11. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms or applicable law.
• Payments fail, are disputed, or charged back.
• You misuse the Platform in ways that harm other users or third parties.
• Required by court order or government authority.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate service.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, or for any decision or action you take based on a reading or interpretation provided by the App.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Platform or its content
• Questions, birth details, photos, or text you submit
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your infringement of any third-party right

14. Privacy Policy

Your use of Maya AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is collected and used.

15. Modifications to Terms

• We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App.
• Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
• Disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Gurgaon, Haryana.
