HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Company”) operates the JaatPride mobile application (the “App”).

JaatPride is a community content app offering posters, wallpapers, and ringtones celebrating Jaat heritage, history, and culture. Certain content is available only to paid subscribers.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use JaatPride.

By downloading, installing, or using JaatPride, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Mobile phone number (used for OTP-based login).
• Optional profile information such as name and preferred language.
• Subscription and billing-related details when purchasing a premium plan.
• Feedback, support queries, or communications you send to us.

B. Automatically Collected Information

• Device information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, unique device identifiers.
• Usage data: tabs viewed, posters/wallpapers/ringtones opened, downloaded, or shared.
• Performance data: crash reports, diagnostics, and error logs.
• Approximate location, if you grant the App permission, used only to suggest regional content (e.g., language defaults).
• Analytics data collected via third-party tools to improve the App.

C. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your contact list, microphone, or camera content.
• We do not collect caste certificates, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data.
• We do not store your full card or UPI details — payment information is handled directly by Razorpay.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your account via OTP and maintain secure login sessions.
• Personalise content based on your selected language.
• Process subscription payments and manage billing.
• Send service messages such as OTP, payment receipts, and important account notices.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorised access.
• Improve App performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.

3. Subscription & Payment Information

• Payments are handled via Razorpay using UPI, cards, netbanking, and UPI Autopay.
• Razorpay processes and stores card and UPI mandate details under its own security and privacy policies.
• We retain only your subscription status, plan, and transaction reference for billing and tax compliance.

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share limited data only:

• With service providers (cloud hosting via Supabase, payment processing via Razorpay, OTP delivery via voicensms.in, analytics) under data-protection agreements.
• To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or lawful government requests.
• In case of mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring (with notice to users).
• To protect rights, safety, and platform security.

5. Data Storage & Security

• We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls.
• Data is stored on cloud infrastructure (including outside India) with appropriate safeguards.
• While we take strong precautions, no system is completely secure.

6. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• Transaction records are retained for the duration required by Indian tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years).
• Analytics data may be retained in anonymised form for up to 24 months.

Under applicable laws (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to:

• JaatPride is intended for users aged 13 and above.
• Users under 18 should use the App with parental or guardian guidance.

• The App may use third-party tools including Razorpay (payments), voicensms.in (OTP), Supabase (data storage), and analytics services.
• These services operate under their own privacy policies.

• We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
• Significant changes will be communicated through the App.
• Continued use of JaatPride means acceptance of the updated policy.
