HouseofTech Innovation Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Company”) operates the Sanatan International mobile application (the “App”).

Sanatan International is a devotional digital-content app that offers ringtones (bhajans, mantras, aartis, chants), wallpapers (deities, temples, sacred art), and other digital services such as devotional images, audio clips, calendars, and curated content for personal use. Certain content and features are available only to paid subscribers.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use Sanatan International.

By downloading, installing, or using Sanatan International, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Mobile phone number (used for OTP-based login).
• Optional profile information such as name, preferred language, preferred deity / tradition, and notification preferences.
• Subscription and billing-related details when purchasing a premium plan.
• Feedback, support queries, or communications you send to us.
• Favourites, downloads, applied ringtones / wallpapers, and other in-app activity.

B. Automatically Collected Information

• Device information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, unique device identifiers.
• Usage data: content browsed, ringtones / wallpapers downloaded, time spent in the App.
• Performance data: crash reports, diagnostics, and error logs.
• Approximate location, if you grant the App permission, used only to suggest regional language and festival-relevant content.
• Analytics data collected via third-party tools to improve the App.

C. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not access your contact list, SMS, call logs, or microphone.
• We do not access your camera or photo library.
• We do not collect government IDs or any sensitive personal data.
• We do not store your full card or UPI details — payment information is handled directly by our payment gateway partner.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your account via OTP and maintain secure login sessions.
• Deliver ringtones, wallpapers, and other digital content you request.
• Personalise content suggestions based on your preferred language, tradition, and download history.
• Process subscription payments and manage billing.
• Send service messages such as OTP, payment receipts, festival reminders, and important account notices.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorised access.
• Improve App performance, fix bugs, and develop new content and features.

3. Subscription & Payment Information

• Payments are handled by RBI-licensed payment gateway partners (such as Razorpay, PhonePe, or similar providers) using UPI, cards, netbanking, and UPI Autopay. The active payment gateway may change from time to time without prior notice.
• The payment gateway partner processes and stores card and UPI mandate details under its own security and privacy policies.
• We retain only your subscription status, plan, and transaction reference for billing and tax compliance.

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share limited data only:

• With service providers (cloud hosting, content delivery networks, payment gateway partners such as Razorpay or PhonePe, OTP delivery via voicensms.in, analytics) under data-protection agreements.
• To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or lawful government requests.
• In case of mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring (with notice to users).
• To protect rights, safety, and platform security.

5. Data Storage & Security

• We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls.
• Data is stored on cloud infrastructure (including outside India) with appropriate safeguards.
• While we take strong precautions, no system is completely secure.

6. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• Your download history and favourites are retained so the App can resume and personalise your experience, and are deleted on request.
• Transaction records are retained for the duration required by Indian tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years).
• Analytics data may be retained in anonymised form for up to 24 months.

Under applicable laws (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to:

• Significant changes will be communicated through the App.
• Continued use of Sanatan International means acceptance of the updated policy.
